How to make apple cider vinegar at home?
The Last time I bought Apple cider vinegar was probably 2years ago. From then on I make my own organic Apple cider vinegar. I can still remember one day I was browsing through some videos regarding organic apple cider vinegar. It was a doctor who was suggesting the benefits of Apple cider vinegar and showing the difference between shop made vs organic ones.
Homemade apple cider vinegar is not only good at grade but also helps you to save some money. All you gotta do is gather some apples, water, jar, and sugar.
➤ Let’s get into it step by step:
🥂 Tools you need :
• A quart-sized ceramic jar, make it clean. 🍶
• Rubberband. 🎗️
• A piece of clean cloth.🥋
🥙 Ingredients:
• Apple peels and cores at least 2 cups.🍎
• Sugar 2 tablespoons 🥄
• Fresh 3 cups of water, filtered water recommended 🥃
Now, fill the apple peels and cores into the jar. Add water(left a few species on top of the jar) and sugar, shake or stir until all sugar is mostly dissolved. Cover the jar with a fresh piece of cloth and make it tight with the rubber band. Place the jar in a dark and warm place for the next 3-4 weeks. Don’t forget to stir it occasionally and check if Apple peels and cores are fully submerged.
In the meantime, if you see any brownish/greyish scum develop, skim it off. After 3-4 weeks, strain out all the pieces of apple and compost. At this time, Apple cider vinegar was already developed. But place the strained liquid aside for another 2-4 weeks.
You’ll know when to use it with the sweet smell and taste. Once you are happy with the taste simply store it in the fridge or the way it is now as long as you like. It won’t go bad. Remember to cap it.
Enjoy the top notch homemade Apple cider vinegar with your lovely family. Eat healthy, Be healthy.
